We are a dedicated strongman and powerlifting gym located in North Tyneside and we are for both seasoned athletes and everyday gym-goers. Our gym is equipped with a range of equipment and facilities, including strongman implements, barbells, squat racks, and cardio machines, to cater to all levels of fitness. Our experienced coaches are here to support and guide you, whether you’re looking to build strength and power for sport, or simply want to improve your overall health and fitness. Joining a gym is a great way to improve your physical health and overall wellbeing. With our gym membership you will have access to a wide variety of equipment and facilities, including free weights, strongman and powerlifting implements and cardio machines. Being part of the community of like minded individuals can also be a motivational factor while working out. With a membership you’ll be able to work out on your own schedule and at your own pace.
Strongman training is a type of strength and conditioning that focuses on building overall power and physical strength through a variety of functional movements and exercises. Lifting and carrying heavy objects, pushing and pulling heavy loads and using unconventional training tools such as; sandbags, kegs, yokes and atlas stones are part and parcel of every good strongman programme.
Powerlifting is a strength sport that focuses on three main lifts; the squat, the bench press and the deadlift. Powerlifting emphasises on building maximal strength and muscle mass through specific compound exercises and typically involves periodised training cycles, progressive overload and a focus on proper technique.
Our personal trainers provide guidance, motivation and accountability to help you stay on track and achieve your fitness goals and targets. Our personal trainers also help prevent injury by coaching proper form and technique for exercises.
Our ladies only classes provide a comfortable, safe and fun environment for women to exercise and improve their fitness.
Small group sessions provide you with a combination of individual instruction and accountability of one-on-one personal training with the added social and motivational benefits of working out with a group.
Our local competitions are a great asset to our local community. We bring people together from different backgrounds and skill levels and have them compete and support one another. It is a great way to support us as a gym by attracting potential new members or showcase our current members progress and achievements.
